The New Hampshire attorney general’s office confirmed on Tuesday that it is investigating the suspicious deaths of a man and a woman inside a Manchester home. The state agency said Manchester police first responded to the property on Wheelock Road following a report of a domestic dispute.

Officers discovered the two adults deceased and an eight-year-old child alive inside the house. The child sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was transported to a local hospital. Hospital staff reported the child is in stable condition and receiving treatment.

Manchester police posted on social media around 10:30 a.m. to inform the public of their presence in the Wheelock Street area. The department asked residents to expect road closures and travel delays while avoiding the immediate vicinity. Photos taken at the scene showed emergency personnel outside the residence, which was surrounded by police tape.

The attorney general’s office stated that investigators are still determining the full circumstances of the incident. The state medical examiner’s office is currently conducting autopsies on the deceased. Officials said they will release more details as the investigation proceeds and once the autopsy results are available.
